The work is one of the most famous among the landscape expression of Zaretsky. "Mallows" is placed on the cover of the artist's most complete catalog "The Scales of Destiny of Viktor Zaretskiy" by Lesya Avramenko.

Provenance: The work was bought from the artist's workshop in Koncha-Zaspa in the 80s of the XX century.
